Who is eligible to apply for the scholarship? +
Applicants must be Ghanaian citizens, demonstrate financial need, and have gained admission into a recognized tertiary institution. Priority is given to brilliant but needy students from rural and underserved communities.
What documents are required for the application? +
Required documents include an admission letter, academic transcripts or certificates, and a recommendation letter from a teacher, lecturer, or community leader.
How do I apply for the scholarship? +
Applications are submitted online via the Foundation’s website. Applicants must complete the application form, attach required documents, and submit before the deadline via email: info@askbagbinedufund.org
Can I apply if I am already enrolled in a tertiary institution? +
Yes. Both new entrants and continuing students who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply.
Is there an age limit for applicants? +
No strict age limit applies. Applicants must, however, be admitted or enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution.
How are scholarship recipients selected? +
Selection is based on academic merit, financial need, and alignment with the Foundation’s objectives. Applications go through verification, shortlisting, and final approval.
What does the scholarship cover? +
Scholarships may cover tuition, learning materials, and sometimes stipends. Coverage depends on available funding and individual needs.
How will I know if I have been awarded? +
Successful applicants will be notified via email, phone, and announcements on the Foundation’s website and social media.
Can I reapply if I am not selected? +
Yes. Applicants may reapply in subsequent years if they still meet the eligibility criteria.
Does the scholarship require community service? +
Yes. Beneficiaries are encouraged to participate in community service and advocacy initiatives organized by the Foundation.
